Justine Tanya Bateman-Fluent was born on February 19, 1966 in New York, the son of former flight attendant Victoria Elizabeth and director Kent Bateman. Justine and her younger brother Jason began their acting careers in their teens, their first on-screen roles in the comedy series Family Ties.
On the big screen, Bateman made her debut in 1988 in the musical melodrama Satisfaction.
