Full name - Michel Francois Pierre Bouquet.
Michel Bouquet planned to become a medical worker, but there was no job, and he worked first as a baker, then as a bank clerk, and during wartime began to take acting lessons. Soon he was already a fairly well-known theater actor, and made his film debut in 1947, playing in the film "Monsieur Vicent" .
For many years, Michel Bouquet played secondary roles, until in the early 1960s directors of the "new wave" such as Francois Truffaut and Claude Chabrol began to invite him to their films.
