Udai is the son of the famous film producer and director Yash Chopra and Pamela Chopra, his brother is Aditya Chopra. He had an unusual childhood. It was forbidden to read newsreels in the house. However, Udai wanted to be an actor since childhood.
Udai Chopra began his film career as an assistant to his father at the age of 17. He later left for Los Angeles to take a five-week summer course on film making at the University of California. Later he planned to travel to Boston to study business management. But the shooting of the film "The Untrained Bride" began and his brother Aditya asked for help. I liked the idea of ??this film and he came home from America. Soon, Udai decided to talk to his family about the fact that he wants to become an actor.
