Ben Zaytlin - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips.
Born October 14, 1982 into a family of two folklorists, founders of the City Lore Foundation in New York. He has a younger sister, Eliza. After graduating from Hastings-on-Hudson High School and graduating from Wesleyan University in Middletown, in 2004 Ben helped found the independent creative group Court 13. Together they traveled to New Orleans to shoot the short film Glory at Sea (2008 ) after Hurricane Katrin destroyed the city.
With his first feature film, he attracted the attention of selectors from major festivals and won the Sundance Prize.
