Sofia Boutella was born on April 3, 1982. Her father, Safi Boutella, was a choreographer and composer. Later, Sofia said that from childhood, dad instilled in her a love of art, introduced her to different musical styles, and also taught her to follow her heart. At the age of 5, the girl first went to dance. When Sofia was 10 years old, her family moved to France, where the young dancer tried herself in gymnastics and achieved success, becoming a participant in the French Championship.
