Rodrigo Santoro was born on August 22, 1975 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After graduating from high school, Rodrigo entered the Faculty of Journalism at the Pontifical Catholic University. Later, his interests shifted towards cinema, and Rodrigo transferred to acting school at the "serial" channel Rede Globo. Santoro has become a lot and successfully starred in Brazilian television series.
Rodrigo got his first role in big cinema in 2001, starring in the film "The Seven-Headed Beast" as a young man from a good family, whose addiction to marijuana brought him to the walls of a psychiatric clinic.
