Born December 29, 1974, New Jersey, USA - American actress.
Graduated from Cornell University and received her Master's degree from the University of California, San Diego. Since then, she has been active on the theater stage, and sometimes played minor roles in films such as Love and Other Circumstances (2009), Martha, Marcy May, Marlene (2011), The Limit of Risk (2011), Happy Sad (2013), While We Are Young (2015) and True Story (2015).
In 2010, she was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Play for her performance in the Broadway production of In the Next Room. In 2013, she was nominated for a Drama Desk for her lead role in the off-Broadway play Belleville.
On television, Dizzia is best known for her supporting role as the main character's best friend on Netflix's Orange Is the New Black, where she starred in 2013-14. She also appeared in Law & Order, Law & Order: Malice, Louis, and The Good Wife.
