In December 1903, the famous actor and entertainer Lev Mirow was born. The actor was born into a large family, he was the fifth child in the family. Until 1920 he studied at a ballet school, after which he became a ballet dancer of the musical and drama theater. In 1924 he went to work at the Blue Blouse Theater. Working in this theater allows him to fully reveal his talents. During performances, he participates in various scenes, sings couplets and ditties, dances and performs acrobatic numbers. In this theater, Lev Mironov discovers the ability to improvise.
In 1928 he moved to the Review Theater of the Press House, where Lev Mirov's small roles were filled with eccentricity. In 1933 he created his own theater - Revolutionary Humor, where the entertainer worked together with E. Efimov. After 1936 he performed in a duet with E. Darsky. But he got a really harmonious duet with Mark Novitsky. These two entertainers soon became known throughout the USSR.
These two wonderful actors have been the permanent hosts of the Blue Light TV show for 10 years. The popularity of Mirov and Novitsky peaked in the 1960s and 1970s. Famous all-Union satirists performed sketches and dialogues. Mirow played in a duet an angry and rude character, and Novitsky was a timid and intelligent one. This duo was popular and famous until 1983.
Of course, such a character as Lev Mirov could not ignore the cinema. The first film with Lev Mirov was released in 1959 and was called A Special Approach. In total, the actor starred in four films and remained in memory rather not as a film actor, but as a pop artist.
This wonderful and funny actor died in January 1983, at the age of 79. Until his death he did what he loved, gave people joy, together with his friend and partner M. Novitsky.
