Born May 31, 1961 in Moscow.
Since childhood, he was fond of drawing, music. He graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute, but during his studies he tried himself first as a cameraman, and then as a director, worked in the television magazine "Ogonek-video", which then united a number of creative people (K. Ernst, N. Nikolaev. V. Molchanov , S. Kuprin, etc.).
In 1996, at a festival in Karlovy Vary, he meets Derryl Kennedy, the owner of one of the studios in the United States, who invites him to America. After returning from the United States, he worked as a director for the VID television company with V. Listiev on the program "Theme". Then also as a stage director on TV projects "L-club" with L. Yarmolnik, "Wheel of History" with L. Yakubovich, "Music of all generations" with V. Tuz. Together with singer Lev Leshchenko and producer Vladimir Yakovlev (TVC), he implements the first musical film project "Military Field Romance", which was awarded the first prize at the 1998 Volgograd Film Festival.
In 1999-2001, he was a member of the management of the Stolitsa TV channel as chief director. He is the author of such projects as: "Style", "Kukonya", "On the first page".
In 2001 he received an invitation to head the daily "Morning Channel" on MNVK TV6, in the same year he directed the children's series "Advice of Professor Chainikov" (8 episodes). After the closure of TV6, he worked in the Ostankino television company as the chief director, and then headed the series of documentaries “Secrets of the Century” (40 episodes), created by him together with Alexey Pimanov and Oleg Volnov (Channel 1). One of the films in this series "Death of a Poet" was nominated for the TEFI television award.
Since 2005 he has devoted himself entirely to film projects. "Alexander Garden" (first season) - adaptation of the novel by A. Pimanov. One of his most high-profile films is the historical adventure film "Servant of the Sovereign", which was shown in more than 30 countries around the world and was nominated for an MTV award.
