Born May 17, 1973, Timmins is a Canadian television actress.
Started her career as a model, before becoming an actress.
Brown is best known for her work in television, where she has played over forty roles. She played the lead role on the Canadian sitcom Sophie (which earned her a Gemini nomination), which aired on CBC in 2008-09. On American television, she had a minor role on the ABC series Happy City in 2010. In 2014, she was a member of the main cast of the first season of FX's The Strain. In addition to this, she had minor roles in Being Human and Bitten. Brown has also played minor roles in several motion pictures, appeared in television films, and has guest roles on TV series such as Hot Spot and Covert Operations.
