Vishwa Mohan Bhatt in the 60s constructed a musical instrument of his own invention. The instrument bears his name - Mohan Vina. Guilt in India in ancient times was called all stringed instruments. Mohan Vina is a mix of slide guitar with sitar, sarod and santur. Vishwamohan Bhatt achieved virtuosity on this instrument and thanks to him Mohan Vina took its rightful place in Indian classical music.
