Born on July 22, 1908. Since 1928, after graduating from the camera department of the State Technical School of Cinematography (GTK) in Leningrad, the cameraman of the Kulkino studio, since 1934 - at the Rostov Film Studio.
Since 1941 - front-line operator of the Central Newsreel Studio. Filmed on the Western, Voronezh and other fronts. 1945-1950 - operator of TSSDF.
Since 1950 - operator of the Irkutsk, then Stalinabad film studios. Since 1951 - operator of the Kuibyshev Film Studio. Since 1954 - operator of the Sverdlovsk Film Studio.
Operator and director of the Soyuzmultfilm studio in 1957-1984, shot about forty-six animated films.
In 1984 he retired.
