2006 - laureate of the independent literary "Russian Prize" of Subcarpathian Rus. Already the first collections of Krivin's miniatures aroused the attention of critics: Edward Kuzmin in the Novy Mir magazine noted that “his small genre can handle different and large loads. By its very origin, by its sly allegory, it must be a sharp fable, an evil saying, a joking or poisonous parable. That is why there are so many well-aimed critical stings in the book. But it turns out that “stories about things” can also provide a portrait of a hero of our days. And finally, a humorous tale can turn into a lyrical sketch. " Reflecting, in connection with one of Krivin's subsequent books, about the reasons for his creative success, the same critic pointed out that his miniatures are distinguished by "the ability to look at any subject from an unexpected, often paradoxical, side" and owe their spectacularity to "rich, tense, compressed , like a spring, compositions, rapid comparison of times ”; the sense of language is also significant for Krivin: “the hidden possibilities of a word, its double and triple meanings, connections with words-relatives, words-neighbors and words-opponents. Every particle of the word lives, moves. ”Gruvemuvestart Krivin wrote the scripts for the film "Cipollino" (1973), the cartoons "Grandma's Goat" (1963), "The Evil Egg Breaker" (1966), "Dandelion - Thick Cheeks" (1971).
