Born June 11, 1938 - artist and director-animator.
In 1970 he graduated from the Moscow Polygraphic Institute, in 1972 - courses for cartoonists of the Krokodil magazine.
In 1960-1999 he worked at the Soyuzmultfilm film studio, first as an animator (more than 120 films), and since 1972 as a director.
He taught animation in Alma-Ata, Chisinau, St. Petersburg, Dresden (Germany) and Moscow. In the mid-1990s. He was the deputy director of Soyuzmultfilm for production, led the Bear Rescue Service project, until 1996 was a member of the Board of the Soyuzmultfilm Film Studio. Since 2000 he has been a director of the Magic Lantern studio. Works as a book illustrator. In animation he worked with artists M.Ya. Rudachenko, E.M. Zharova, T.V. Kolyusheva and others.
