Born on January 22, 1968, near Marseille, Bouches-du-Rhone - French footballer, world and European champion, and more recently - theater and film actor.
Already at the age of 16, Leboeuf played for clubs in the lower French divisions. In 1988 he transferred to Laval. In this club, Leboeuf played 69 matches in which he showed good performance for a defender, scoring 10 goals. Leboeuf's next club was Strasbourg, for which he spent 5 seasons and managed to become the captain and one of the leaders of the club.
In 1996 Leboeuf left France and went to Chelsea, where he had the most successful segment of his career. As part of the "aristocrats" he won two FA Cups, the League Cup and the Cup Winners' Cup. In total for Chelsea, Leboeuf played 144 matches and scored 17 goals in them, most of which were from penalties.
In 2001, Frank returned to France, in his native Marseille, but due to constant conflicts with the coaching staff, Leboeuf did not get a firm place in the base. In 2003, already at the end of his career, he left for Qatar, where he played for 2 local clubs - Al-Sadd and Al-Wakrah, where he ended his career.
