Mobb Deep is a musical group consisting of two Americans from New York with the pseudonyms Havoc (Havok) and Prodigy (Prodigy). The group performs music in the style of "hardcore rap".
Havok and Prodigy first crossed paths in the 80s, while young people were studying at the Design College of Art in New York City. Having formed the band, Havok concentrated on writing music and Prodigy on writing lyrics. The debut single of the band is considered Cop Hell, which was released in the 92nd year. A year later, the band's first full-length album, called Juvenile Hell, was released on the rather modest 4th & Broadway label. After the release of the album, he was deservedly recognized as a masterpiece in his genre. Thanks to The Infamous, the group has become one of the main representatives of the East Coast. A year later, the duo consolidated their success by releasing the disc Hell on Earth, which was similar in many aspects to the previous one. In the same year, Prodigy went to prison, and Havok held a major rally in support of his friend. The money from the action was used to support African-Americans in prison and their families.
