Michael's musical career began with the Tonmeister courses at the University of Surrey. After Price worked as the music director of the Dance and Music studio.
He made his film debut as a composer for "Something of Mine" (1991). In 1996 he was invited to write electronic sounds for the Paramount film "Event Horizon" (1997). This led to a 5-year working relationship spanning a number of highly successful films in London, Los Angeles and Prague, as well as concerts in Berlin, New York and Geneva.
