Born March 26, 1965, London, UK - British film director and music video director.
After graduating from a course in theater design, Glazer began directing theatrical productions, making promo videos for film and television, and his work for the BBC has received a number of professional awards. In 1993, he directed three of his own short films, and enrolled in Academy Commercials. Since then, he has directed famous advertising campaigns for Guinness (Swimblack and Surfer) and Stella Artois (Devils Island). Since the mid-nineties, he has shot a number of music videos, and in 1997 he was named "Clip Maker of the Year" according to MTV. His work in the field of music videos is often noted as copyright and original.
In 2000, Glazer's debut feature film, The Sexy Beast, was released. For his role in this crime drama, Sir Ben Kingsley was nominated for an Oscar.
The director's second film, Birth, was released 4 years later. Glazer also co-wrote the script, and Nicole Kidman played the main role.
