JEFFREY SILVER has released nearly 30 films through his company Biscayne Pictures and in partnership with Outlaw Productions. In August 2010, he signed with Disney to produce all of the studio's major projects, including TRON: Legacy. His films have grossed a total of $ 1 billion in the United States and over $ 2 billion worldwide. Recent films by Silver include: Terminator: May the Savior Come, directed by McG, with Christian Bale and Sam Worthington; Zack Snyder's epic war drama "300 Spartans" (Warner Bros.), based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller. Outlaw's recent projects include Love Out of the Rule and Treason. Outlaw is currently working on Lost Boys, a film about Sudanese refugees, based on the novel by David Eggers.
Biscayne Pictures filmed a remake of John Carpenter's "Assault on Precinct 13". The studio is currently working on the romantic film April 23, which takes place during the Cold War, and on the adaptation of Frank Miller's graphic novel Ronin .
Silver has produced both studio and independent films, including Training Day (Warner Bros.) opposite Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke; "Santa Claus" (Disney) with Tim Allen and his two sequels, and many others. Silver also produced the first two seasons of the hit TV series The Wonderful Years, which earned him an Emmy for Best Comedy Series .
In 1999, Silver founded FilmAid, a non-profit organization that shows films in refugee camps around the world.
