Swedish electro-pop group consisting of Christian Karlsson, Pontus Winberg and Andrew Wyatt. The group was formed in 2007. The team owes its name to the Japanese director Takashi Miike, after whose name the trio is actually named. Even before Miike Snow, Christian Karlsson and Pontus Vinberg wrote for Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears and Madonna. At that time, the duet of Karlsson and Vinbeog was called Bloodshy & Avant. For the legendary composition "Toxic", written for Britney Spears, Bloodshy & Avant were nominated for a Grammy.
