She was born on March 24, 1948 in Riga. Graduated from ballet school, music school (Riga), acting department of VGIK (1971, workshop of S. Gerasimov and T. Makarova). She first starred in a movie at the age of fifteen (popular science film, Riga studio). She made her feature film debut in 1970. In 1984 she left for Canada. Lives in Los Angeles, worked at Bullock, representing cosmetics, starred in television films.
