Born May 3, 1975, East Brunswick, New Jersey, USA - American actor, producer and tap dancer.

Dewley Hill practiced ballet from an early age and appeared in the musical Tap Dance Kid on Broadway as a stunt double for Savion Glover, and then played a part on the show's national tour.

Hill graduated from Sairville Memorial Military High School in 1993 in Sairville, New Jersey. He continued his studies at Seton Hall University and also studied acting at the studio of William Esper. Hill was the head financier at Seton Hall when he landed a role in Jim Henson's CityKids. In a commercial on the USA Network, Hill stated that he is a Christian.

His first film role was in Sugar Hill in 1993, when he was in his sophomore year of high school. During his time at Seton Hall, he starred in Bring in 'da Noise, Bring in' da Funk on Broadway.

In 1999, Hill landed the role of Martin Sheen's Charlie Young, personal assistant to President Josiah Bartlett, in The West Wing. During the sixth season of the series, Charlie became special assistant to the chief of staff. Hill played Charlie for six seasons before deciding to leave the show at the start of the seventh season in September 2005 to star in the pilot of the new television show, The Seer, which premiered on July 7, 2006. However, when it was announced that The West Wing would end in May 2006, Hill returned to star in the final episodes of the series.

Hill also had roles in 1999's It's All Her, starring Freddie Prinze Jr. and Rachel Lee Cook, who later starred in Seer, alongside Hill. In the film and TV series "10.5 Points" he played Dr. Owen Hunter from Los Angeles, and in the Disney film, Treasure played the role of Sam (the film itself is mentioned in one of the episodes of "Seer") and in "The Lifeguard."
