Georgy Deliev - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips.
Was born on January 1, 1960 in the city of Kherson in a family of teachers.
Graduated from the Odessa Civil Engineering Institute, Faculty of Architecture (1982). During his student years, he was actively engaged in pantomime and clowning.
1982-1984 worked as an architect in the city of Pyatigorsk, then in Chisinau, where in parallel he opened theater-studios of pantomime.
In 1984 he worked at the Leningrad Theater under the direction of Vyacheslav Polunin "Litsedei". In the same year he was admitted to the ensemble of pantomime and clownery "Masks" at the Odessa Philharmonic. Nowadays the comic troupe "Masks" is an independent company, where it still works as an art director, director, actor, author. Graduated from the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography, directing department (1992).
In the period from 1992 to the present day, he has shot about 80 difficult-staged television films of the comedy series "Masks Show" (stage director, scriptwriter and leading actor).
Ex-deputy of the city council in the commission for culture, education, youth and sports. Honored Artist of Ukraine.
People's Artist of Ukraine (2009).
