Was born in 1962 in Varniai, Lithuania, USSR. In 1985 he completed his vocational training at the Lithuanian State Conservatory (course leader - Jonas Vaitkus Jonas Vaitkus) Acting. From 1985-1986 and 1987-1989 at Kaunas State Academic Drama Theater. Since 1989 he has been an actor of the Lithuanian National Drama Theater. Former husband of Ingeborga Dapkunaite.
