Born on July 18, 1973, in Rostov-on-Don. His parents are also musicians, so from early childhood Vlad became interested in performing songs. According to the musician himself, he began to sing at the age of two and a half, and at the age of five he performed on the big stage as part of a pop and symphony orchestra. At the age of seven, Vlad began working under the guidance of his mother, Tatyana Kornilova, in the vocal and instrumental ensemble "Children of the Rainbow". It was one of two groups in the country where children not only sang, but played all instruments. VIA has several prestigious awards for winning international competitions. In 1988, Vlad graduated with honors from a music school in the piano class, after which he began his studies at the Rostov School of Arts, where he studied vocals at the pop-jazz department. At the age of sixteen, Vlad dropped out and left for Denmark, but a year later he returned to his homeland. A trip to Europe brought him an acquaintance with Valery Kipelov from the famous "Aria". Soon Vlad became the backing vocalist and keyboardist of the group, but in 1994 he left the band. He returned to his hometown, completed his studies, and then finally moved to Moscow, where he graduated from the Gnesins Conservatory.
