She was born on January 26, 1915 in Kiev.
Graduated from VGIK in Moscow.
She worked as a cameraman at the A.P. Dovzhenko in Kiev.
She was the first female cameraman in Ukraine.
During the 1941-1945 war she worked in a photo studio created by the operator Vsevolod Kovalchuk. Under the pretext of photographing, they traveled to concentration camps and, whenever possible, rescued people who got there. She printed photos at the studio, which were later used as evidence of fascist atrocities.
