Pupil of Evgeny Vakhtangov (1917-1922). She studied at school at 3 studios of the Moscow Art Theater (1921-1924), in 1924-1964 she was an actress in the troupe of the Moscow Art Theater. Played lyrical, comedic and poignant roles.
Wife of actor Anatoly Goryunov (1902-1951). Children - the actors of the Moscow Art Theater Mikhail and Anna Goryunov.
She worked a lot on the radio and voiced cartoons ("The Snow Queen", "Island of Errors", "Fedya Zaitsev" and others) .
The actress was buried at the Novodevichy cemetery in Moscow (plot number 2).
