Born February 12, 1968 in the Parisian suburb of Boulogne-Billancourt, in the family of the director Jean-Louis Bertuchelli.
Master of Philosophy, documentary filmmaker of the Parisian studio "Atelier Varane". She made her debut with the television documentary "Un metier comme un autre" (1993). She worked as an assistant director for Otar Ioseliani, Krzysztoft Keslowski, Bertrand Tavernier, Emmanuel Finkel and Ryti Panch. Her feature-length debut film "Since Otar Left" (2003) was recognized as the best in the Critics Week program at the Cannes Film Festival, received an award from the Association Marguerite Duras, as well as good reviews and awards from various international film festivals. The second work, The Tree, was selected for the closing of the 2010 Cannes Film Festival.
She was married to French cinematographer Christophe Pollack, who died suddenly in 2006.
