Hockey player.
In 1986-91 he played in the USSR championships for the Kiev "Falcon".
As part of the Russian youth team, he became the 1999 world champion and won silver medals at the 1990 world championship. In addition, he was recognized as the best defender of that tournament, gaining 5 points (3 + 2) in seven matches. With the junior national team of the USSR U18, he twice won bronze medals at the 1987 and 1988 European Championships.
In 1998-99 he moved to Switzerland. He played for the Ukrainian national team at the 1999 World Cup. In 1999-2001 he spent the last two seasons in Germany, in “Berlin”.
