Since 1953 - assistant director, then director of the film studio named after A.P. Dovzhenko. In 1966-1971 - teacher of I.K. Karpenko-Kary, among his students are Villene Novak, Yaroslav Lupiy, Boris Savchenko, Oleg Goyda and others.
