Olga Kusenko - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips.
Born November 11, 1919 in Kanev (Ukraine). Graduated from the Kiev Institute of Theater Arts named after Karpenko-Kary (1941). During the Great Patriotic War, she studied at the medical courses, and then worked as a nurse on an ambulance train (Western Front). On the Stalingrad front (1942) she acted as part of the front propaganda brigade. Since 1944 she was an actress of the Theater named after I. Franko. 1973-1987 Chairman of the Board of the Ukrainian Theater Union. People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1962). People's Artist of the USSR (1967) .
She passed away on November 17, 1997 in Kiev.
