Was born on September 7, 1969 in Rostov-on-Don. Mom is a teacher of Russian language and literature, dad is a surgeon. In 1992 he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Physics of the Rostov State University. While still a student he took up directing: first in the amateur studio "69", since 1990 - on the professional stage. For seven years he has staged ten performances in all, except for the puppet show, local theaters: the private theater "Angazhement", the Academic Drama Theater named after Maxim Gorky, the Academic Theater of Young Spectators.
The performances have been repeatedly recognized as the best performances of the seasons and received prizes at all-Russian festivals. In 1991 he began working on television - first in the television company "South Region", then in the state-owned Don-TR. For seven years he shot about 100 commercials, 11 video clips, 2 documentaries, 4 TV plays, 1 video art picture, 1 musical television movie, 3 serial projects: two about music, the third about cinema.
In 1998, he became interested in cinematography: he shot a television series, a documentary and a motion picture. The first staging in Moscow was the play "Plasticine" based on the play by V. Sigarev at the Center for Dramatic Art and Directing directed by A. Kazantsev and M. Roshchin.
Lives and works in Moscow.
