In 1963 she graduated from the Tashkent State Pedagogical Institute, in 1965 - the evening department of the Tashkent Theater and Art Institute.
In 1964 she was invited to the film actor's studio at "Uzbekfilm", where she played several episodic roles in films. She played at the local Youth Theater. She worked on dubbing.
In 1969 the cartoon "The Brave Sparrow" was released, in which the main character was played, that is, voiced by Svetlana Muratkhodzhaeva. From that moment on, she was invited to all subsequent Uzbek animated films and dubbing of many cartoon characters. She gained wide popularity, and directors began to call her Uzbek Klara Rumyanova.
For almost fifty years of her creative career, she has voiced and dubbed the images of adults and children in more than one and a half thousand feature films and over a hundred animated films. She has shot over forty cartoons. Her first directorial debut took place in 1976. It was the Turtle movie.
