Born on 19.02.1956 in the family of a housewife and a factory worker. He remembers school as a living hell. He says that he studied for only deuces and ones, and only in high school did triples and fours begin to appear on the report card. He grew up among boys - hooligans in a rather gangster area. But the parents carefully watched their son, brought up a real man in him and taught him to be restrained.

Becoming older, Oleg Mityaev became interested in playing the guitar. I learned by heart the songs of my favorite performers and tried to play them myself.

In 1975, he entered the editing college, but immediately regretted it. Exact sciences were not his strong point. True, Oleg gave himself his word to finish his studies and kept his promise.

After serving in the army, Mityaev graduated with honors from the Institute of Physical Education, where during his studies he often participates in various performances. Playing the guitar, he began to write his own works in the late seventies. At the same institute, Oleg will remain a teacher for several years. Later he would also be hired by the Philharmonic. It was during this period that the singer thinks about an acting career and does not hesitate to get a second education. In 1992 he graduated from GITIS. But cinema still could not firmly gain a foothold in the life of a guitarist. Films with Oleg Mityaev's participation were released only three times. In 1990, he starred in two films - Military Safari No. 6 and Forensic Assassin. His next film work will appear already in 2007: he will take part in the filming of the documentary Monologues against the backdrop of red brick, or 20 years later.
His musical career developed more successfully. The guitarist began to work with other artists. Once he was even entrusted with the role of Mayakovsky in the play Bolshoi Vladimir, which premiered in Italy.

Oleg regularly pleases the audience with his own concerts. He composes himself, performs himself. Colleagues share their impressions, they say that every concert by Mityaev is always something new and extraordinary.
