Was born on March 16, 1946 in Molodechno. People's Artist of the Republic of Belarus (2006) .
In 1969 he graduated from the acting department of the Belarusian Theater and Art Institute (course of D. Orlov). From 1969 to 1971 he was an actor at the Bret Regional Drama Theater. Since 1971 - as part of the Yanka Kupala National Academic Theater. 2005-2009 - Director of the National Academic Theater named after Yanka Kupala.
Associate Professor at the Academy of Arts, teaches at the theater department.
