Born 1950, Barcelona, ??Catalonia, Spain - Spanish producer, businessman and political activist.
At 12 years old, Haume had to leave school to support his family after his father died of cancer. At the age of 14, Roures began his political career and joined the organizations "Comisiones Obreras" and "Frente Obrero de Cataluna". Jaume later joined the Revolutionary Communist League and the Fourth International.
In 1983, Jaume was arrested for his possible collaboration with the Basque left-wing radical, nationalist separatist organization ETA. A year later, Jaume took part in the creation and development of the Spanish television channel TV3.
In 2002 Rowres took up the production of films. In 2003 he served as the executive producer of Oliver Stone's documentary Comandante.
In 2007, Roures became one of the founders of the Publico newspaper, which was printed until 2012, after which it became an online newspaper.
