Born December 25, 1968 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Her mother is from Peru.
She took her first steps in the modeling business when she was 9 years old. As a child, she dreamed of becoming a musician. In 1986, having received the title "Miss Denmark" at the age of 18, represented Denmark in the Miss Universe pageant. After the end of the competition, she moved to Paris, and later to New York, USA.
