In 1962 he was an actor of the Taganka Theater.
In 1975-1994, he was an actor at the Moscow Academic Theater. V.V. Mayakovsky.
A landmark work for Alexander Shvorin in the cinema was the role of Mark Borozdin in the film "The Cranes Are Flying" .
He passed away on the night of August 22-23, 1994 in Moscow from emphysema of the lungs. The actor was buried at the Golovinskoye cemetery in Moscow.
