Alexander Starostin - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips.
Born December 22, 1936. After graduating from the Samara Aviation Institute (Faculty of Civil Aviation), he served for more than ten years in the Polar Aviation divisions. Member of many expeditions (zoological, ethnographic, etc.) in the Far North. Author of the novels "The Second Circle", "Return to Your House", "Pierre and Natasha" (co-authored with Larisa Vasilyeva), "The Queen of Magic Dreams", collections of stories and novellas "Leader's Collar", "Little Liu", "A Little Bit of the Arctic ". He worked in literature for children and adolescents: the stories "Admiral of the Universe", "The Rescue of the Chelyuskinites", "Red Wings", "Matrona of Moscow". Long-term employee of the Murzilka magazine. Member of the Writers' Union of Russia since 1974 ".
Passed away on September 6, 2007. Buried at the Kuntsevo cemetery.
