Born December 18, 1974, San Francisco, California, USA is an American artist, producer and TV presenter.

Graduated from Los Gatos High School, California, after which she entered the State University of San Francisco, from which she graduated in May 1998 with honors (magna cum laude), receiving a diploma in sculpture and cinema ... She was a vegetarian. Over the next several years, Kari has been involved in multi-day hiking, mainly traveling in South Asia, including the Himalayas, and also participated in several art projects. In addition, she was a secret employee of a merchant, keeping track of prices and assortment of martinis and other firms.

On the TV show, Kari appears in a team of “junior legend destroyers” (or “apprentices”) - along with Tori Belechi and Grant Imahara, and also assists the main hosts - Adam Savage and Jamie Heineman, participating in the verification of various urban legends, tales and myths. She constantly appeared in the workshop of Heinemann M5 Industries for the purpose of employment and, thus, got on the transfer. On her first day as a salaried employee, show producer Peter Rhys and Jamie asked Kari to help test the vacuum toilet myth: she was tasked with making a model of her own buttocks to create a mold (to cast a model for testing). In this regard, she later joked that she was hired "for the ass."

In the second season, Kari began to play a more prominent role. Since she had no significant experience in the entertainment industry, it was not easy for her at first, but gradually Kari began to behave more naturally and freely in front of the camera.

She went on maternity leave in the second half of the 2009 season and was temporarily replaced by Jesse Combs. In 2010 she got her own show on Science Channel - "Head Rush" ("Madcaps").

Fine arts and sculpture have a significant place in her life. Kari claims that every day of her life creates a work of art in one form or another, otherwise, in her words, she "goes crazy." Among her favorite materials are polymer clay, various objects she found, gouache, wood and metals.

After the success of MythBusters, she continues to create sculptures, but no longer exhibits them, as she believes that the demonstration of her inner world at art exhibitions may conflict with the popularity of The MythBusters: viewers will be more interested in talking about the transfer than about her art ... She also said that she really enjoyed working freely only for herself in this area.
