Mark Ivanir was born in September 1968 in Ukraine. Four years later, he moved with his family to Israel, and after graduating from school there he decided to join the army. By the end of the 1980s, already in retirement, he radically changed his life, entering a circus school.

First he performed in front of passers-by on the streets of Europe, after that he joined the Cirque Pauwels troupe, where he worked as a juggler. After a couple of years, he left the circus and continued his studies at Nissan Nativa, specializing in acting. After graduation, Mark performed on the stage of one of the theaters in Tel Aviv, after which, together with other enthusiasts in 1991, he founded the Gesher Theater.

Two years after its founding, his brainchild enjoyed unprecedented success, receiving only positive reviews from critics and audiences, and as a result, the Times named it one of the best theaters in the world.

The first movie with Mark Ivanir was released in 1988 - it was an action movie called Iron Eagle 2.

New film with Mark Ivanir - Schindler's List, his debut work in Hollywood, was "strewn" with Oscars. Viewers were able to see this masterpiece of world cinema in 1993. In the picture, Mark tries on the image of one of the key characters - Marcel Goldberg, Schindler's assistant. After the triumph of this film, the actor began to be invited to shoot in the most popular TV series, such as: CSI Crime Scene, Spy, Shield, 24 Hours, Black Mark, etc. In 2001, Mark moved with his family to Los Angeles, where he lives to this day day. The actor often appears on television and takes part in filming, and does not even think about giving up acting. Among his new works are films: Everybody Loves Whales, Kaleidoscope of Love, The Fourth Estate, Indisputable (the last 2 parts), Farewell Quartet.
