Born on July 8, 1963. In 1989 he graduated from LGITMiK, course of Lev Dodin and GITIS (directing), course of A. Vasiliev. He worked at the Maly Drama Theater in St. Petersburg, at the School of Dramatic Art Theater and at the Taganka Theater in Moscow. Among the director's works are "The Exile" by Beckett, "The Paradox of the Actor" by Diderot and "The Brothers Karamazov" by Dostoevsky, "Mozart and Salieri" by Pushkin.
