Miriam Boyer is a Lyon-born French actress, two-time winner of the Moliere Prize for Best Acting Performance, mother of actor Clovis Cornillac and stage actor and director Arnie Berry.

Miriam experienced a difficult childhood: her father drank a lot and often resorted to violence, her mother became disabled due to illness. The parents were divorced, and the family lived very poorly. The girl contacted vagabonds and danced on tables on Sundays in suburban cafes.
