Born on December 20, 1941 in Sverdlovsk (Yekaterinburg) .
In 1964 he graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School (course of P.V. Massalsky) .
Since September 1965 - artist of the Army Theater. Prior to joining the troupe, he served in the TSATRA team.
Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1991) .
Married, has a son Andrey and a granddaughter.
The actor passed away on June 15, 2007 in Moscow. He was buried at the Ostankino cemetery in Moscow.
