Graduated from the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (1951, workshop of Mikhail Romm and Sergei Yutkevich).
In 1951-1988 - an actor at the Film Actor's Studio Theater.
Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1986) .
The actor died of a stroke at the age of 77. He was buried at the Nikolo-Arkhangelsk cemetery in Moscow.
