Born in Denmark on September 12, 1958.
Kim graduated from Danish Film School in 1996 and has since written more than twenty feature films, some of which have been selected for the Berlinale. He is also the author of novels, children's books, plays and short stories. He has received a number of awards as a screenwriter, and in 2003 the Danish Film Workers' Association awarded him the Honorary Award for his contribution to Danish cinema.
