Born July 9, 1957, Southport, UK - English singer. In 1979-1984, Almond was a member of the electronic pop duo Soft Cell and the project Marc And The Mambas. Since 1984 he has been performing solo, periodically recording in various projects (including Soft Cell). He has published several autobiographical books.
