Farid Chopel, born and died in Paris (December 4, 1952 - April 20, 2008), whose real name is Farid Rabia, is a French actor and singer.
The son of Algerian immigrants, he began his career with the actors of the experimental physical theater "Layla" in 1973.
Multidisciplinary artist, plays, dances, sings and writes shows.
He often signed minor roles in films.
Died April 20, 2008 from cancer, four weeks after his diagnosis while admitted to hospital in Cochin.
