TV presenter, journalist, producer and actor Konstantin Stogniy was born in August 1968. At the age of eighteen, he entered the school of special units of the KGB of the USSR. For six months, Konstantin studied the skills of working in the conditions of military special operations. Upon completion of his studies, Stogniy went to fight in Afghanistan.
Returning to his homeland, Konstantin graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at the University of Taras Shevchenko. After Stogniy, he underwent internships in various Soviet and foreign agencies and editorial offices.
Konstantin worked on the production of a TV show for the American edition of National Geographic. Together with French journalists, Stogniy covered the events of the Transnistrian conflict, broadcasting radio reports from the combat zone. In 1994, Konstantin joined the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and two years later he moved to the operational department of the criminal investigation department.
In 2003, the first film with Konstantin Stogniy was released - the mini-series European Convoy. Four years later, two more television projects were released with his participation: the comedy musical Stepfather and the drama A Very New Year's Movie, or Night at the Museum.
Since the winter of 2006, being a police lieutenant colonel, Stogniy for some time headed the public relations department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. In early 2008, Konstantin resigned.
In the period from 1998 to 2007, Stogniy collaborated with the Inter TV channel. Konstantin's reports and author programs were devoted to events in hot spots, high-profile criminal events and police investigations. These projects were successful and attracted a large number of viewers to television screens. Later, the presenter switched to ICTV channel.
