Studied photography with one of the leading Leningrad masters of the 1970s, Oleg Nikolayevich Bakharev.
Author of fifteen solo exhibitions and participant of more than fifty collective exhibitions in Russia and abroad.
In 1978-1981. worked as a sound technician in the LGITMiK recording studio. In 1981-1989 - a photographer at the Lennauchfilm studio, took part in the creation of more than twenty documentary films (directors D. Delov, A. Sidelnikov, A. Karpushev, N. Makarov and others).
He starred in films and television series.
